NEW ENGLAND ROOTS

Maine Shack sources wild-caught lobster directly from a dedicated fleet of lobstermen in Stonington, Maine. We receive shipments of fresh lobster at the restaurant a few times per week.

Our menu features six different varieties of lobster rolls, fried whole belly clams, scallops, haddock, steamers chowder, lobster mac & cheese, a north shore roast beef sandwich, and several other New England specialties. Many showcasing a variety of ingredients sourced from the Gulf of Maine.

Our partnership with our dedicated lobstermen means the catch is sustainable and traceable. Knowing where every clam, scallop, and lobster is harvested and hauled is not only important, it’s the Maine Shack standard.

Since we opened in July 2019, we’ve proudly sold over 60,000 lobster rolls and over 20,000 pounds of wild-caught lobster.

SHACK VIBES ONLY

We wanted Maine Shack’s eclectic decor to not only feature authentic New England elements, but to actually feel like a seafood shack you would find on the East Coast.  That’s why our friends from the hit TV show the Maine Cabin Masters on the Magnolia Network helped us build our dream shack.

The 1,500 square-foot restaurant boasts some of Maine’s most famous landmarks, including a channel marker from Monehegan Island, a trail marker from the Appalachian Trail, lobster paper towel holders made by inmates at the Maine State Prison, a replica of the welcome sign for the State of Maine, and a 100-year old oar and rudder, all sourced in Maine.
